Our last mission trip of the year has come to an end but what an incredible, eye opening experience. It is hard to grasp such a different way of life until you see it first hand. Huts made of straw and mud, one well (if fortunate enough) to serve and entire village, diseases spread from bugs, water and soil, the hunger, the rate of children dropping out of school, the inaccessibility to medical supplies, and that’s just to name a few. This team made a difference. All of our mission trips make a difference.
Thank you for your support of these missionaries and our ministry! The work that we do in Malawi is life changing for so many and we couldn’t do it without the God fearing men and women who have a heart for missions. God has blessed us abundantly and we are so grateful! Please pray for this team and the start the two day journey home! Praise God for the impact this mission team is making in Malawi. The past few days they have lead listening groups, had 38 baptisms, conducted a medical and eye clinic, witnessed the drilling of a borehole and visited a refuge orphanage that Operation Save sponsors. They are coming to the end of their trip! Tomorrow the team is traveling five hours away to have some much needed down time at an African safari. Stay tuned!!
Our team has been busy! They have had listening groups, visited a school that benefits from our feeding program, prayed with patients at a local hospital, handed out care packages and witnessed a well repair. They are halfway done with their trip and have already impacted so many lives Our team split up into two groups, visiting Chipwenkha school and Mbalame school. They handed out care packages, washed the feet of children while giving out shoes, distributed porridge and gave out salvation bracelets while ministering to little minds. Witnessing kids light up when they receive the most basic of necessities is an eye opening experience. Praise God for the man power and supplies we have been blessed with at Operation Save!
After two long days of travel our team has arrive to Malawi! They were greeted by our staff in traditional Malawian fashion with singing and dancing.
