"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, sayong, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me". Isaiah 6:8 Kalonga Village/Blanket DistributionToday was a day of warmth, healing, and hope in Kalonga Village.
As many of you know, it’s winter in Malawi and with harsh winds and cold temperatures sweeping through the villages, most families cannot afford the simple comfort of a blanket. In fact, nearly 70% of the population here doesn’t have access to one. But today, Operation SAVE had the privilege of being the hands and feet of Jesus in Kalonga Village, Dowa District. We were able to distribute: • 20 warm blankets to the elderly • 40 buckets • 60 care packs • 20 Bibles • 1 audio Proclaimer (Bible) In addition, Kalonga and nearby villages received medical care through our mobile clinic, staffed by qualified doctors and nurses. Before any of this, Marvin boldly preached the Gospel to over 400 people, and 233 souls received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. HALLELUJAH! The village chief personally thanked our team for the support and encouragement brought to his community. Please continue to keep our team in your prayers as God continues to move in powerful ways across Malawi. This is more than a mission trip, this is revival. |
