Ministry Assistant 2010 - Present BIO
I am from Dowa district and with 2 children. I was ordained as a pastor in 2005 through my local church in Lilongwe. I was transferred to Lumbadzi area, where I was given a church to lead. And it was through this church that I got connected with Operation SAVE in 2010. In 2010, I helped with the mobilization of first ever pastors conference hosted by Operation SAVE. After 2010, I became an active volunteer with Operation SAVE and have been a member of the organization since. In 2017, I was offered a permanent place within the organization handling feeding program activities. Being a ministry assistant has been more involved as I am now handling different programs of the ministry department. Joining Operation SAVE has been helpful to me as a pastor as it has increased my capacity as a leader of my own church. Being able to support children with their physical needs. |

Jeremiah Haleke
Ministry Officer 2019 - Present BIO
I am a servant of the living God, born in 1978. Originally from Phalombe District, South of Malawi, and married with 5 children. I got married before being saved. I gave my life to Christ in 2003 when I heard the voice of the Lord during a village crusade. The Lord spoke to me through “Matthews 11:28-30,” and I was convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit. This was the call to salvation. In 2004, the Lord called me to service, and I went to Moore Theological Seminary in Zambia for two years. From there, I proceeded with my Education and got a 1st degree in Theology and Business Management. I realized in 2006 that God called me to be a Pastor and Teacher (Ephesians 4:11-12). I was ordained in 2006 as a Pastor of Deeper Life Bible Church. Now I oversee 18 Churches/Pastors. I joined Operations SAVE in 2006 as a volunteer because of their vision and mission statement “share the love of Jesus Christ”. Through different programs, Operation SAVE has impacted me with spiritual and moral knowledge that has helped to plant more than 49 churches in Malawi and be able to oversee 18 pastors. |

And through other programs, the ministry has been able to benefit some fertilizers, which has helped in my farming. |

I am one of the first employees and longest serving members in the ministry. I joined Operation SAVE in 2003, serving as a maize mill operator in the ministry department to this very day. I have enjoyed working with Operation SAVE because I have learned a lot of things since I came here, and my life has changed spiritually and physically. I enjoy serving the community of Lumbadzi in providing them with a service that is essential to their daily lives, grinding corn for them so they can have food to eat at their homes. The biggest thing that I cannot forget is the help I received from Operation SAVE when I was ill and, in the hospital, that love and care encouraged me to work harder. |

As this is my first year working with the organization, I hope to continue working here. |
